Welcome to Hamilton Orthodontics, a respected orthodontic provider conveniently located in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Our practice's top priority is to provide the highest quality orthodontic care in a friendly, comfortable environment.
In addition to traditional appliances, Dr. Jennifer Hamilton offers modern braces, such as Invisalign® clear aligners and ceramic braces. Ceramic braces move teeth just as efficiently as metal braces, except the brackets are clear, so they are less noticeable. We utilize digital X-rays to ensure that you receive the most effective care possible.

We recognize that every patient has different needs, and we pride ourselves in the courteous service we deliver to each person who walks through our doors. Whether you're an adult, adolescent or child, Dr. Hamilton is committed to helping you achieve the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve!
Dr. Hamilton is a West Virginia native, growing up in the small town of Clay in central West Virginia. She decided she wanted to become an orthodontist the day she began her own orthodontic treatment at age 10. Her family dentist and cousin, along with her family, encouraged her to pursue a career in dentistry. Preparing for college, she took her studies very seriously and graduated from Clay County High School as Salutatorian in 1996.
Having been born and raised a Mountaineer fan, Jennifer had always planned to enroll in undergraduate classes at West Virginia University. She majored in Pre-Animal and Veterinary Sciences in order to take advantage of all the additional science classes and labs that were offered. This helped to better prepare her for dental school. She graduated summa cum laude from the WVU Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.
Out of the many applicants, Dr. Hamilton was chosen as the top candidate by the Admissions Committee and received a full scholarship to WVU School of Dentistry. While completing her coursework in general dentistry, she spent extra time in the orthodontic clinic treating patients and completing a research project. She graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 2004 from WVU School of Dentistry. Dr. Hamilton was thrilled to receive her training in orthodontics at WVU as well. In 2007, all her hard work paid off as she earned her Master’s Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. Immediately after graduation, she joined Dr. Richard E. McClung in his practice in Lewisburg and has taken over the practice solely since his retirement in January 2014.
Jennifer spends her free time with her husband, Doug, her high school sweetheart, and two children, Katie and Carter. They love spending time outdoors biking and walking on the River Trail with their dogs, having cookouts with their family and friends, and cheering on the Mountaineers. They even enjoy the occasional Steelers game at Heinz Field.
Dr. Hamilton and her family love sports, and all are active in the local community. She and her husband coached softball for several years. Having been a cheerleader from elementary to high school, Dr. Hamilton jumped at the opportunity to be a cheerleading coach in the youth league. She enjoys spending time with kids and hopes to pass on some of her spirit and love of sports. Growing up in a small town, Dr. Hamilton understands how neighbors helping neighbors can make a huge difference. She is happy to be able to give back to the community by donating to various school, sports and community organizations.
Dr. Hamilton is an Associate Clinical Professor at the WVU School of Dentistry Orthodontics, with an emphasis on preparing dental students and orthodontic residents for the Board exams. In addition to teaching students, she has given professional lectures to doctors and staff of the WV Dental Association and Southern Association of Orthodontists. Hi, my name is Miranda and I have been a part of the team since the summer of 2009. I have since worked in several capacities helping to provide the best orthodontic care Greenbrier county has to offer. I became certified by the WV Board of Dental Examiners in January of 2011. The thing that I enjoy the most about my job is watching our patient's smile transform. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in the dental field so having the opportunity to learn the art of orthodontics has been very rewarding. Some of my job responsibilities include managing social media and marketing, fabricating multiple types of appliances in the lab and assisting Dr. Hamilton with your routine appointments. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and son, William and Liam, and our puggle, Zoe. I look forward to seeing you at our office!
Hi, my name is Leigh Ann and I joined the team in June of 2012 and became board certified by the WV Board of Dental Examiners in September of 2014. I will be assisting Dr. Hamilton with your initial consultation. I will also give you an overview of the steps necessary to begin treatment, answer any questions you may have regarding payment arrangements, insurance benefits and utilization of our website. As the treatment and financial coordinator I want you to leave our office feeling confident and well informed. When you're ready to begin treatment I will help you schedule your first appointments and may also take your pre-treatment records.
My husband and I have two children. We spend our free time at their various sports activities and enjoy vacationing at the beach and Disney World.
Hi, my name is Janet and I joined the team in January of 2009. I became a certified orthodontic assistant in January of 2011. My responsibilities include assisting Dr. Hamilton on the day that your braces are put on and also with your future appointments. I make sure that everything is properly prepared and ready for you on the day that we bond your brackets. I also fabricate expanders, space maintainers, and other lab appliances. I have lived in Greenbrier county since 2005 and have a husband, John, and 2 children, Kaitlyn and Jordan. I enjoy traveling with my family and spending my weekends at my children's sporting events.
Hi, my name is Jessica. I've been a Greenbrier county resident since birth. I assist Dr. Hamilton at routine appointments and on the day that you get your braces taken off. Hi, my name is Kathy. I joined the team when the practice opened in 1983. In 2004 I became certified by the Board of Dental Examiners as an orthodontic assistant. My responsibilities include assisting Dr. Hamilton on the day that we place your brackets and on your future routine adjustment appointments. I also manage inventory and ordering in the office. My favorite part about being a chair side assistant is interacting with all of our patients. I have been a Greenbrier county resident all of my life and love to travel, read, and spend time outdoors. My husband and I enjoy spending our free time with our son, daughter and new grandson.
